Our one-day WASP course is an integral part of the 2nd-year subjects "Square-Rigged Sailing & Unconventional Rigs" and "Shipbuilding Sailing Vessels".
External students can join the course. It might be necessary to refreshen the basics, therefore all participants will be supplied with the online material needed to access the basics of: - Theory of Wind Propulsion (Sail Theory) Study time circa 3 hours - Basic meteorology. Study time circa 3 hours The course will be held on February 20, 2026 at the schoolbuilding in Enkhuizen. The course is offered in class, but can also be followed online. The course will conclude with an online test which can be taken at a convenient moment. After completion a "Certificate of Completion in WASP Technologies" will be issued.
